SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah is set to get up to $8 billion from the newly passed COVID-19 relief package. The House of Representatives sent the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan to President Joe Biden Wednesday afternoon. The President’s office said he will sign the bill Friday.

The Utah House of Representatives gave final approval to House Bill 347 Thursday, restructuring how the state manages this growing problem. The bill is now headed to Gov. Spencer Cox’s desk.
