The Utah Population Committee (UPC), convened by the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute, continues the work previously done by the Utah Population Estimates Committee (UPEC) through the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget (GOMB). The purpose of our state and county-level estimates, first and foremost, is to capture and understand recent population changes throughout the state. We use that understanding to provide annual population estimates for Utah and its counties between enumerations.

Our body of work consists of estimates from 2010 to present, with accompanying summaries, methodology, and downloadable data.
