This month, a team from the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute will travel to Phoenix, Arizona to present our proposal for the American Dream Ideas Challenge. The Utah Coal Country Strike Team, a public/private partnership to help revitalize economies in Carbon and Emery counties, was selected as one of the three finalists from the University of Utah.

The Utah teams will be presenting alongside proposals from The Ohio State University, Arizona State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison for up to $1 million in funding from Schmidt Futures.
