The Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute announces its next “Newsmaker Breakfast,” a monthly event highlighting current issues impacting the State of Utah.

As Utah’s population and economy continue to grow and change, state tax law will require significant reform and modernization. Utahns share a common interest in a state and local tax system that provides for our needs, keeps the economy strong, and remains viable over the long term.

We are honored to welcome Utah Gov. Gary Herbert as our November Newsmaker, who will discuss ongoing efforts by the executive branch, Utah Legislature, and other entities to modernize Utah’s tax structure.

The conversation will be moderated by Kem C. Gardner Institute director of economic and public policy research Juliette Tennert. Media are invited to attend.
