The Utah Economic Council is composed of local economists and other experts from the Gardner Institute, state agencies, higher education institutions, and other private sector organizations. The council meets regularly to discuss the economy and come to an understanding of its drivers and trends. Participants submit quarterly economic forecasts of selected Utah and U.S. economic indicators.
