The Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute and the Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations (QAMO) major are partnering to offer one QAMO student/semester the opportunity to intern with the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute. The intent of the internship is as follows:

• • Provide hands-on experience to conduct quantitative research and data analysis in support of economic and public policy issues

• • Expose the student to events, activities, and individuals related to government, business, economics, and public policy

• • Provide the student with real-world experience, such as programming tasks in R and/or Python, economic forecasting assignments, and writing opportunities for both internal and external audiences.

• • Responsibilities may vary by semester based on active needs and projects at the Gardner Institute.
