Ivory Experiences
The Ivory Experiences provide undergraduate students a unique opportunity to interact and learn from Utah’s preeminent public policy institute and prominent business and community leaders. Each semester, ten undergraduate students will be selected to take part in the Ivory Experiences.
During the semester, students attend community lunches with business leaders and policymakers in a small and intimate setting where they can ask questions and get a first-hand look into the local and state business community. Students will also have the opportunity to convene on Capitol Hill, where they meet with members of the governor’s staff and legislative analysts who give a great behind-the-scenes look at the workings of state government.
We invite all our Ivory Experience students to attend our regular Institute events, which include forums and trainings with prominent members of the business and political communities.
Finally, based on interests and areas of study, we pair students with a member of our economic research team whom they connect with on their own time for assignments and resume reviews, mentoring opportunities, recommendations, community connections, and more.
