The Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute announces its next Newsmaker Breakfast, a monthly event highlighting issues impacting Utah.

Our August Newsmaker Breakfast will focus on the growing demand for mental health care in Utah, current gaps in mental health services, and barriers to providing and accessing quality care. The event will coincide with the release of a new and comprehensive report on Utah’s mental health system completed by the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute, in partnership with the Utah Hospital Association.

Our Newsmakers will be Greg Bell, President and CEO of the Utah Hospital Association, and Jeremy Cottle, CEO of Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital, who will offer thoughts on the current state of Utah’s mental health system and considerations for improving access to mental health services in the state. The conversation will be moderated by Gardner Institute director Natalie Gochnour. Media and the public are invited to attend and ask questions.

Please RSVP to gardnerinstitute@eccles.utah.edu as space is limited.
