Experimental National Projections

The Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute produced new experimental 2030 population projections for all 50 states and Washington D.C. by sex, age, race, and Hispanic origin as part of a contract with the Sorenson Impact Center. These experimental projections include low, medium, and high scenarios, providing a range of potential futures for planning. Previous work from the Census Bureau and the University of Virginia Weldon Cooper Center informed these projections.
