The Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute announces its next “Newsmaker Breakfast,” a monthly event highlighting current issues impacting the State of Utah. The event will be held in the Ivory Ballroom of the Thomas S. Monson Center. A light breakfast will be served.

John Huber, the United States Attorney for the District of Utah, will join us to discuss the Department of Justice’s focus on violent crime and gang prosecutions.  He’ll address how the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Utah, through the Utah Gang Initiative, is partnering with federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement to identify those responsible for violent crime in Utah and the effective prosecution of these cases to deter future crime and promote public safety.
