This work shares tract level postcensal housing unit and population estimates for Salt Lake County for five years (2010-2014) based on the housing unit method, which capitalizes upon detailed building permit data. The research indicates that Salt Lake County continues to grow, develop, and change, especially as the economic recovery has progressed. Rapid changes have been geographically concentrated and conditions vary dramatically by neighborhood.
