Population Estimates by Single Year of Age and Sex: 2010-2019

The Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute released annual population estimates by age and sex for Utah and each of its counties for 2010-2019. These estimates show Utah’s population grew by nearly 450,000 people during that timeframe.  This is considerable growth, but only part of the story.  Birth rates are falling, Utah’s population is aging, and Baby Boomers are retiring.  The new estimates provide planners and policymakers with data to make informed decisions.
