Population Estimates by Single Year of Age and Sex: 2010-2018
The Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute released annual population estimates by age and sex for Utah and each of its counties for 2010-2018. These estimates show the Utah’s population grew by nearly 400,000 people since 2010. This is considerable growth, but only part of the story. Birth rates are falling, Utah’s population is aging, and Baby Boomers are retiring. The new estimates provide planners and policymakers with data to make informed decisions.
