Utah Intergovernmental Roundtable

The Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute staffs and coordinates the Utah Intergovernmental Roundtable (UIR).  The UIR is a volunteer organization composed of representatives from the legislature, State department heads, cities and counties, special districts, and school board officials, who are interested in public policy issues that cut across different levels of government  The UIR group meets regularly to discuss current issues in Utah.

The mission is to facilitate discussion and promote understanding of intergovernmental issues in order to enhance the cooperation and interaction of governmental entities.

UIR meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month from 10:00–11:30 am Olmsted Room in the Senate Building of the State Capitol.  No meetings are held while the Utah State Legislature is in session.
