LeadNOW is a three-day leadership development course during which you will learn new skills and gain new knowledge and insight based on these key principles.

  1. Leadership is an activity, not a position.
  2. Anyone can lead, anytime, anywhere.
  3. It starts with you and must engage others.
  4. Your purpose must be clear.
  5. It’s risky.

By attending the LeadNOW program, you’ll learn key leadership competencies that will help you develop your capacity to lead.  We use three main teaching methods in our program: case in point teaching; case studies; and coaching.  The case in point method is an opportunity for participants to practice leadership skill during the program using live situations.  During case studies, participants analyze real-life leadership dilemmas and explore ways to make progress on those challenges using the leadership competencies.  Following the program, participants in the LeadNOW program will work with a coach to help further develop your leadership skills.

LeadNOW Competencies

  • Diagnose Situations
  • Manage Self
  • Intervene Skillfully
  • Energize Others

We thank our friends and colleagues at the Kansas Leadership Center for their support of our LeadNOW program. A special thank you to Ed O’Malley, president and CEO of the KLC, Rod Heifetz, and Marty Linsky at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
