Sundance Film Festival

The Gardner Policy Institute’s research on the Sundance Film Festival helps decision makers understand of the economic impact of the annual event. The most recent survey found that festival attendees spent a total of nearly $62.2 million over the course of 10 days, with all but $5 million of that spending coming from out-of-state visitors. The Gardner Policy Institute surveyed Utahns regarding their experiences with the state’s website. The study shows that eGovernment is valuable to Utah residents, as evidenced by the 75 percent of respondents who say they have used the site in the past year and the 87 percent of users who find the services valuable.
