Nicholas Thiriot is a communications specialist, serving as the principal media contact for the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute. Mr. Thiriot also assists with a wide variety of research projects related to housing, tourism, economic impact, and special programs and events facilitated by the institute.
Mr. Thiriot currently assists in the staffing and development of the Utah Economic Council and the Economic Club of Utah, a forum to share research, data and analysis important to the success of the Utah economy. He is also responsible for contributing to overall website organization, content, design, as well as maintaining all social media channels for the Gardner Policy Institute.
Mr. Thiriot earned his B.S. in Political Science and Master of Public Policy, both from the University of Utah. Prior to joining the University of Utah, his previous work experience included special projects with Salt Lake City Corporation’s Division of Housing and Neighborhood Development, the Utah Nonprofits Association, and the Utah Governor’s Office. Additionally, he has done work with national media outlets on a variety of production projects across the country as well as in the United Kingdom and China.
