Jonathan Ball advises the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute on public policy and finance.  Mr. Ball is the director of the Office of the Legislative Fiscal Analyst for the state of Utah. He leads a team of non-partisan financial analysts and economists who forecast state revenue, recommend budgets, estimate the cost of proposed legislation, and staff the Legislature’s appropriations committees. He has also served as staff on the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress, the Washington Office of Michigan Governor John Engler, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the White House Office of Management and Budget.
